Coronavirus Update - 20 June 2020

We’re looking forward to re-opening on 14 July 2020 (as currently instructed by the Welsh Government!) and to welcoming friends old and new. Bron-y-Graig is a superb place to relax – but more importantly, for your post-lockdown break, we’re a safe base for you and your family to enjoy unspoilt Welsh countryside. So from 14 July we’re reducing our occupancy rate from 9 rooms to a maximum of 4. Our rooms are much larger than the average hotel room so you won’t be cramped. We have generous hillside gardens with 3 lawns, 2 outside seating and eating areas and a wild woodland retreat, all with green views of the tranquil Dee Valley, so you can enjoy nature undisturbed. Bron-y-Graig is well-located, so if you wish to venture further, we can guide you to the quietest spots to experience North Wales.

We already hold 5 stars for food hygiene, and guest reviews highlight Bron-y-Graig’s cleanliness, but now we are taking extra special measures so you can visit with confidence:-

  • Book with full confidence – you can cancel or change your date free of charge
  • We'll only let one room on a floor at any one time
  • Breakfast will be served in your room
  • Our food service staff will wear disposable facemasks and gloves
  • We've space for 15 cars but we’ll only have 6 vehicles at once
  • We have handwashing facilities and sanitiser at the main entrance
  • You can choose to stay room-only
  • You choose whether we service your room during your stay
  • We're spending June deep-cleaning ready for re-opening and will deep-clean each room between guests
  • If you have any queries or concerns please ring or email us
